

Ann Marie Fairchild
Soprano
Ann Marie Fairchild, a Charleston native, is a graduate of the College of Charleston with Bachelor’s Degrees in Fine Arts (Vocal Performance) and Mathematics. She holds a Master’s Degree in Secondary Math Education and is National Board Certified in this area. She teaches mathematics at the Charleston County School of the Arts, appearing occasionally as a guest accompanist and soloist for the performing groups. Ann Marie is an active member of the Ashley River Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir and is the director of the youth choir. For 2 years, she served as the interim music director and worship leader at the church. Ann Marie has been a performing member of the Charleston Symphony Singers Guild and the Charleston Renaissance Ensemble with whom she has been privileged to sing at the National Cathedral and at the Yale University Elizabethan Conference. Ann Marie and her husband, Philip, have 2 sons, Joshua and Jacob.
